This year, I wanted a costume that people could easily recognize. In years past I've gone as obscure characters from long-canceled British television shows, medieval literature, even video games. I know. It's sad. I can't keep the dorkiness at bay when the scent of mutilated pumpkin is wafting on the breeze. Anyway, determined to break with tradition, I enlisted with a bunch of friends going to the Village Halloween Parade as zombified hospital staff.
But I fucked up.
I couldn't just be an undead GP and be happy with that. I kept telling folks that I was the Zombie Rick Dagless from Garth Marenghi's Darkplace. Upon hearing this, most would simply shake their heads and walk away. I have a problem. I know that now.
What? You haven't heard of Garth Marenghi's Darkplace? Say no more, traveller.

As I've said, you are such an asset to this blog.
And here I thought I was the only one who has heard of that show.
Nope. Tim is amazing.
